Religious discourse offers significant value for linguistic analysis. Functional analysis of religious texts provides a lexico-semantic approach to interpreting these discourses, though it remains underexplored in the literature. To fill this gap, study undertook functional Parable Sower within framework transitivity. A mixed-method was employed. The text taken from Modern English Version (MEV) (Mark 4:1-20). process types and their participants worldview parable were analysed framework. material type dominated text, occurring 42 times. This followed by relational, mental, verbal behavioural types. actor participant data. is highly action-oriented with world concerned happenings, movements tangible actions. could be described as: nature Christians upon receiving word instructions towards bearing fruits. Enthusiasm, materialism, double-minded being stressed characterize while commitment, focus, steadfastness faithfulness represent seed bearing. textual interpersonal metafunctions language should employed consolidate findings presented paper.
